Scarpa team event

scarpa team weekend

Well it’s been a fun weekend with the Scarpa team in Northumberland, as ever the weather and rock was fantastic up there.

There was a big group of us, about 20 or so, rampaging through the boulder problems.

Bowden and kyloe provided us with hours of fun and many layers of skin were lost.

Also it was a great opportunity for us all to get together as a team, in some cases meet people we’d never met before and put the scarpa boots through their paces. The scarpa Italy guys were there as well watching on, probably in wonderment at the frenzy of activity.

I had a chance to put my ‘rockettes’ in action on different rock and although I already liked them, I am now convinced they are the boot for me. Very comfortable to wear, really hold their shape and edge and work on lots of different angles. And big bonus, they have a velcro closure, so super easy to take on and off.

So big thanks to Steve Roberts and the Scarpa team for organizing a great event, including the bbq and a floodlit (with car lights) footie match which will go down in history as a classic!
