I suppose this year has been about me becoming a climber again post injury. I have steadily worked back up through the grades (mainly on Peak Limestone), starting with redpointing f7b+'s and building up to getting back on f8a's. I was really pleased to redpoint 'Powerplant' just before I went to Kalymnos.
Little did I expect to come back from Kalymnos with an f8a onsight, but that's what happened on my last day. Turns out, my endurance is pretty good and all the climbing I've been doing on Peak Limestone has meant that the moves in Kalymnos didn't feel too hard.
Needless to say I am well chuffed and hope this is just the start of more good climbing.
